For lunch and dinner, the café offers fragrant curries, punchy rice dishes, and delicious noodles. You’ll find Nanyang’s signature laksa, Roti Canai (soft flaky roti served with satay or a hearty curry), and Ipoh Hor Fun. We’re bringing our beloved national dishes, Nasi Kerabu (made with our traditional Blue Coconut Rice) and Hainanese Chicken with Rice Balls. Wash it down with a curated selection of teas from Nanyang Tea Club, a thirst-quenching Singapore Tiger beer, or a local crafty from Young Henrys. Then have a pick-me-up Malaya Kopi (coffee).
At Nanyang Malaya Café our interiors will transport you to a British Malaya’s Kopitiam-inspired café, a real find on the streets of Singapore. Be greeted with décor that reminisces a relaxed laid-back time featuring a rickshaw, rosewood furniture, flea market chairs, and old doors as tabletops, marble tables, and a wall mural from a local artist-illustrator Lew Keilar.
This year, we look to positivity with our customers, as we would like to offer our customers the option to celebrate Lunar New Year by not only dining in but also at home with our Suburban Delivery Service. Our drivers are now going (almost) everywhere everyday to serve you better.
Discover MoreWe support locally made products at Nanyang Malaya Café. Our freshly baked bread is supplied by Shepherd’s Artisan Bakehouse, while Vella Nero award-winning coffee roasters have created an exclusive Nanyang blended coffee. Young Henrys Newtowner, IPA, and Stayers will be served whenever you feel like a coldie. We have partnered with a local wine merchant located in St Peters to curate a wine list to pair with our menu. We look forward to sharing more collaborations with our new locals soon.
